Is SEO Over?

SEO is really the ultimate chess match.  There is the chess master, Google, then there are many people that try to figure out the algorithm.  Some succeed, and many fail.  And at some point, enough people figure out how to beat the system, and Google tweaks the algorithm yet again.  This game continues, over and over, until the weak are weeded out.

The question is, is SEO over?  Google has become masterful at weeding out those that are trying to cheat them.  Is 2015 the year that they will finally overcome all those trying to outsmart them?  With the tremendous progress in 2014 that Google accomplished, many think that SEO as we know it is coming to an end.

However, we feel differently.  In fact, we think that search engine optimization is really just beginning.  More and more people are getting onto the internet, and as a result there are more and more opportunities for generating traffic and revenue that people haven't even thought about yet.

Since we consider ourselves the creme of the crop of SEO, we actually consider it a blessing when Google updates their algorithm.  It just means that people that use less than kosher methods will be disappointed and distracted, providing people with true talent and knowledge less competition.

We're looking forward to SEO in 2015, and we're looking even more forward to SEO in 2020 and beyond.  The game is not up, friends, it's just beginning.
